Summary
Daily Sum (日常帳 / 日常账) does not sell your data, does not show advertising, and does not use third-party tracking SDKs. The app is built to store your personal finance data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync or iCloud Drive backups, that data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's services.
This policy describes the Daily Sum app itself. Apple may separately process data for iCloud, App Store, TestFlight, crash reporting, App Analytics, and other Apple services under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Data Daily Sum Stores
Daily Sum lets you create and manage personal finance information, including account names, account balances, currencies, categories, budgets, transaction amounts, transaction dates, schedules, reminders, notes, exchange-rate metadata, app language, default currency, and backup preferences.
This information is stored on your device so the app can provide its core functionality. Daily Sum does not operate a developer server that receives or stores this personal finance data.
iCloud Sync and Backups
Daily Sum includes optional iCloud features. If you turn on iCloud sync, your Daily Sum data may sync through your private iCloud database. If you create backups and iCloud Drive is available, backup files may be saved to your iCloud Drive. These features rely on Apple's iCloud infrastructure and your Apple Account.
You can turn iCloud sync off in Daily Sum settings. You can also delete managed backup files from the app. Data already stored in iCloud may also be managed through Apple's iCloud settings and storage controls.
Location
Daily Sum may ask for location permission to help choose a travel or local currency in the exchange calculator and transaction flow. Location is used for this in-app convenience feature. Daily Sum does not send your precise location to a developer server.
You can deny or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings. The app continues to work if location permission is not granted.
Network Requests
Daily Sum may connect to public exchange-rate services to refresh currency rates. These requests are used to retrieve public market data and are not intended to upload your accounts, budgets, transactions, notes, or other personal finance records.
Notifications
Daily Sum may ask for notification permission so it can show budget alerts and transaction reminders. Notifications are used for app functionality. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Your Controls
You can manage your information in Daily Sum by using app features to:
- create, edit, or delete accounts, transactions, categories, and budgets;
- export, restore, or delete backup files;
- turn iCloud sync on or off;
- clear all app data from Daily Sum settings;
- change location and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Children
Daily Sum is a general personal finance tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Daily Sum changes how it stores, processes, or syncs data. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
